Copyright & DMCA
What this covers. Call2KOT is business software, not a publishing platform. We do not host user-generated content for public display. This page exists so that anyone who believes material we host infringes their copyright knows exactly where to send a notice.
1 · What we host
On a customer's own server we host nothing — the software runs on their machine and we have no access. Where we host the service, the material stored is our customers' operational data: menus, orders, customer records and call transcripts. None of it is published or made publicly accessible.
2 · Designated agent
Notices of claimed copyright infringement should be sent to:
| Designated agent | [NAME] — Copyright Agent, Call2KOT |
|---|---|
| Address | [FULL STREET ADDRESS] Dubai, United Arab Emirates |
| copyright@call2kot.com | |
| Telephone | [NUMBER] |
3 · What a valid notice must contain
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), a notice needs all of the following. A notice missing any of them does not trigger our obligations, and we will say so rather than act on it:
- A signature — physical or electronic — of the copyright owner or someone authorised to act for them.
- Identification of the work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, specific enough for us to locate it.
- Your contact details: address, telephone and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act.
4 · Counter-notice
If material of yours was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address containing your signature, identification of the material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, your contact details, and consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant court. We will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the material after ten business days.
5 · Repeat infringers
Accounts of repeat infringers are terminated. This is a condition of the safe harbour and we apply it.
6 · Misrepresentation
Section 512(f) makes anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing liable for damages. We read notices carefully and do not remove material on a bare assertion.
